PTD is a 25-year-old family business committed to excellence. Our core business
is a tool making and prototype shop with short-run manufacturing and assembly
capabilities. Primarily working for the Santa Cruz and Silicon Valley electronics
industry. We have machined all the conventional materials "brass, stainless,
aluminum, alloy, die castings, composite, plastics, and lava." In addition
to some of the high nickel content materials "Carpenter S/S, Inconel, Hasteloy,
Kovar etc." We machine exotics like lava and Makor machinable ceramics.
Our
Cost Engineering, Consulting and Estimating department will transform your
prints, drawings, sketches and specifications into a detail machined parts
estimate with a manufacturing process sheet and a costed bill of material.
